Time is of the Essence in Iran

For success, timing is everything. Protests have erupted all across Iran, from big cities to small towns. President Trump often commented in the last few days on the events there and twitted “@RealDonaldTrump, Big protests in Iran. The people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism. Looks like they will not take it any longer. The USA is watching very closely – and – The people of Iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime.”

Vice President Mike Pence wrote: “As long as @RealDonaldTrump is POTUS and I am MP, the United States of America will not repeat the shameful mistake of our past when stood by and ignored the heroic resistance of the Iranian people as they fought against their brutal regime…”

There is no doubt Iran may be on the verge of a big, and positive change. Unfortunately, as it happened many times before in Iran and in other nations, unless the USA acts swiftly and decisively, the window of opportunity for the liberation of the people of Iran may close, and millions will continue to suffer under a corrupt and dictatorial regime. The UNITED NATIONS and our great Ambassador Nikky Haley must call on the UN and vote on a resolution condemning the Iranian regime and calling for the immediate opening of the social media, and the internet. It is imperative that the nations that have supported the corrupt regime be put on notice, and that a bright spotlight is placed on those that have for years supported a dictatorship masquerading as a theocracy. President Donald Trump has already indicated that the violent reaction of the Iranian regime could bring about the termination of all previous agreements between the US (Obama Administration) and Iran. But in the modest opinion of this writer, POTUS should use this brief opportunity to finally terminate all agreements and previous deals done by our predecessors, and finally push the reset button.
